about

12 tracks of lusciously catchy '90s-dosed indie-pop. — Boston Globe

A fantastic example of an amazing, talented guy who seems to have no limits to what he can do. — Music Savage

Honestly I can’t say enough about this record. Each song has something completely unique to it and once you reach the end and hear the silence, you wonder, "what the hell happened??" A stand out track aside from ‘Come Correck’ for me is the second song titled ‘Aioki’. The instant quirk you’ll hear sounds like something from an early Flaming Lips record. The opening catches your ear and leads you into this amazing hook... These two songs are enough to go out and pick up the record. —Dysonsound

Think about the Pyramid!! One main idea with many (logically organized?) supporting elements. A mosaic. It's a structure for life, art, and one hell of a new album by Kurt von Stetten.

Per usual, Kurt plays every instrument on the record, including cello, guitar, bass, xylophone, drums, washboard, keys/synth, and a variety of children’s toys, noise makers, and hand percussion.

And this time, Kurt got some production help--making it his most sonically dynamic effort to date. Headphones, kids. Headphones.

Engineered by Kurt von Stetten. Mixed by Owen Curtin (The Bridge Sound and Stage). Mastered by Mike Quinn (Moontower).

Multi-instrumentalist, BMX flatlanding, photog Kurt von Stetten is a black belt brewer of some of the tastiest homemade ... more indie rock to ever tickle your palette. Kurt plays every instrument, on every song, on several self-produced full-length albums—mixing and matching overheard conversations and mental picture tacking with his favorite indie-rock memories. He also plays drums for The Longwalls. less
